We have raised over $100 dollars for Mrs. Johnson tonight!  Way to go!  I am hoping we can leave it out for the Varsity game tomorrow and we will have it again for our next home game.  Thank you to all parents who have helped make our PINK OUT successful!

There were several items left in the bleachers and in the dressing room tonight.  If your child is missing a phone, a band hat or anything else, I probably have it in the office.

Just a reminder to wear your game day T-Shirt tomorrow during school.  Players will be released at 3:30 and must be back at the gym by 4:20pm.  Game time is 5pm for B team and 5:45-6pm for A team! Parents I ask that you “PINK OUT”!  All players must stay until the 7th A team is over.

Wanted to remind everyone that the first Six Weeks will end next Friday.  Due to UIL if a student/athlete does not pass they can not play.  Please talk with your child and make sure their grades are passing.

Monday is a home game and will start at 5pm.  The girls will be able to leave at 3:30 and grab something to eat/snack on.  They will need to be back at the gym by 4:20.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  Mrs. Johnston, who was a 5th grade teacher but is now teaching 3rd grade.  She is my son’s teacher this year.  She fought breast cancer about 4 years ago (not sure) and on the first day of school was informed that the cancer was back.  She had surgery last week and will be out for about 8 weeks.  I would like to show our support and wear pink to the games.  There will be a collection available to those who would like to donate.  Mrs. Johnson will have many financial burdens during this time, including paying for her sub at school.  I would greatly appreciate your support for her.  We have 2 home games in October and I am asking that we wear pink to show our support.  If you have any other ideals to show our support for Mrs. Johnson I am open to suggestions!
